Housekeeping / Laundry position
We are now expanding our team as we prepare for our borders to re-open to international guests. You will be joining an experienced team all working to help Helena Bay Lodge’s property meet its world-class potential and ensure a high-class guest experience.
Key Function:
- Responsible for Housekeeping maintenance and ensuring that all aspects of the role are executed to the highest quality standard.
- Responsible for the laundering and presentation of all guest linen/personal clothing and staff uniforms.
- Maintaining an impeccable standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the Lodge, villas and staff areas.
- Any other reasonable tasks as requested by Head Housekeeper and Assistant Head Housekeeper.
The successful candidate will:
- Be able to communicate clearly and pose a good command of verbal and written English with exceptional presentation skills and an eye for detail.
- Have strong timekeeping and organisation skills.
- Have the ability to multitask, working in a team environment and independently, using initiative.
- Be able to take direction and follow correct procedures.
- Take all practicable steps to ensure and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Liaise with Head Housekeeper/Assistant Head Housekeeper regarding stock management for Housekeeping and Laundry.

Criteria for this position:
- Have the legal right to live and work in New Zealand, for the entirety of the Season.
- Full New Zealand driver’s license.
- Work across a 7-day week shift pattern including public holidays.
